Concept and Ideation: The concept of this artwork came from basically a Heart, when we talk about heart, we are dealing with feelings, so these feelings are expressed in many different ways. The heart represents the Earth, and everything on earth is badly affected by global warming, we can see in the artwork that animals from the north pole is affected, working class citizens that are represented by the buildings are affected, and even our natural habitat and phenomenons are affected. All the major lifeforms and non living things are affected by global warming, we can see that the heart is sad and tearing apart due to what has happened to our earth. The feel of color and texture also play an important role, i have used various deem and sad color in the heart to create a sad kind of warm feeling, whereas i have put purple as my background to have a "Dawn" feeling on my artwork.

Process of colouring

few processes of colouring, with dfferent shades of colour, multiple layer and playing with the the opacity.

first shade of colour :)

My first shade of color, zoomed in and focused on the polar bear. after choosing the object i was about to color, started coloring then, made many mistakes here.

The heart represents the many innocent lives affected by global warming, the heart is cracking and tearing apart due to global warming on earth, the summary of this is sketch is, what will happen if we are all affected by global warming, we can see that animals are affected by it, even the volcano's come out during these global warming and heating. this is the sketch i have chosen as my final sketch.

Top sketch shows a matchstick burning, but the middle of the fire is the globe, shows it producing heat after being matched up. the lower sketch shows an hour glass of the difference between before and now

The first sketch shows the earth in an egg form, cracked open and being cooked whn it is open, due to serious heat from the earth. the lower sketch shows the thinning of trees through the years, people are thinning the trees that causes massive global warming.

In the top sketch, we can see tht a sad maid is using the world as an iron to iron the clothes, this shows that the world is so hot that it can be used to iron the clothes. The lower sketch shows a polar bear trying its best to stand on the last of the ice berg left in the antartic, due to over heating, it has cause the ice berg to melt, and it is affecting the antartic animals.

This artwork shows global warming of the earth in the top picture, due to modernization, we are all trapped under water since the heat has already melted the ice bergs, in the middle picture, it shows the earth looking at a mirror and seeing tht most of its "hair"= trees has been chopped off and has cause burning sensation and heat. in the lasat picture, shows a tender caring hand, holding the melting world due to global warming.

Tutorial work on 18/6/12 - Photojournalism

The guy in this photo is Slash, a legendary classic rock/blues guitarist, who became famous in the early 70's. He was initially linked to an amateur band called Road Crew, he then met Axl Rose and wanted him to be the lead singer for a new band that he wanted to form, Axl Rose and Slash then gathered a few other band members and formed Guns N Roses, which became one of the hit rock band in the the late 80's. The band then disbanded around the 90's, Slash also made a dew debut albums by himself and later found himself reforming a badn with other ex-bandmates and formed a new band called Velvet Revolver. Slash was also famous for using the Gibson Les Paul guitar and he also signed a few contracts with Gibson to produce Signature series guitars, up till this day, Slash is still a well re-known guitarist and one of the most respected guitarist in the world.
